South Wales Safety: Sponsoring International Women’s Day 2026

As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, we proudly highlight South Wales Safety as this year’s key sponsors. The company’s commitment to fairness, inclusion and community wellbeing makes them an ideal partner for an event dedicated to recognising and uplifting women across all sectors

Championing Inclusive Workplaces

South Wales Safety is a company built on strong values. Their team believes that workplaces thrive when every individual is given the opportunity to succeed, contribute and be recognised. This philosophy shaped their decision to support the event.
In the words of Business Ambassador Lee Howells, “Supporting International Women’s Day aligns with our belief that strong, inclusive workplaces are built when everyone has the opportunity to succeed, be heard and be recognised for their contribution.”
The company places emphasis on the benefits that come from balanced teams and diverse leadership. As Lee explains, “When women thrive, teams tend to be stronger and perspectives are clearer. Standards are often higher and that benefits everyone.”
South Wales Safety is proud to support a day that celebrates progress and champions equality not as an abstract idea but as something that requires active commitment.

A Company with Community at Its Core
Community

responsibility sits at the heart of South Wales Safety’s work. The organisation supports a wide range of charities because it believes businesses should play an active role in strengthening the world around them.

Many charities, including 2wish, rely heavily on public support. South Wales Safety recognises this and is committed to helping fill that gap. As Lee highlights, “Many charities are approximately ninety per cent self-funded with minimal grant or government support. Without individuals and businesses raising awareness and vital funds, these charities could not continue providing the invaluable support that is needed.”

This deep understanding of the charity landscape has shaped the company’s long-term partnership with 2wish.

A Meaningful Connection to 2wish

The connection between South Wales Safety and 2wish began through tragic personal circumstances. Following the sudden loss of a baby in their wider family, South Wales Safety saw the profound difference that 2wish made during an unimaginable time.

Lee captures this powerfully: “I firmly believe that 2wish does not only provide essential bereavement support. They also save lives.”

2wish supported the immediate family as well as those impacted by the wider ripple effect. The specialist bereavement support they received inspired Lee and the company to become ongoing partners and advocates, taking on multiple challenges and fundraising initiatives.

Encouraging Others to Get Involved

When it comes to encouraging other companies to support 2wish, South Wales Safety does not hesitate.

“If you can help this fantastic charity, either through raising awareness or through fundraising, I implore you to please do,” Lee says.
