Steff was born and raised in Cardiff and educated at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf before embarking on a career in nursing at Swansea University. He qualified as a nurse in 2003 and began his career in Singleton Hospital and Morriston Hospital Accident and Emergency Departments.
Steff then returned to Cardiff and spent 10 years as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Unit at the University Hospital of Wales before moving to his current employment 3 years ago. He is now working as a Critical Care Practitioner with the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service and the Wales Air Ambulance providing pre-hospital critical care across Wales.
Steff was first introduced to Rhian and 2wish in 2014 and was part of the team that developed the Immediate Support Pathway. Throughout his career he has been providing bereavement support to families in an acute setting and Steff has seen, first hand, the positive impact that the support 2wish has on grieving families and staff alike.
Steff feels very privileged to be invited onto the board of trustees and is excited to bring his experience to support 2wish.
