“Understandably, this has been very tough emotionally both for myself and for our two young children.
However, since my losses I have gained strength from the idea of raising money for charity through 2wish in both Paul and George’s name, with the help of three of my closest friends.
I am finding this a source of comfort and focus at this devastating time.
The name ‘2wish’ was decided for a number of reasons.
Firstly, George was our ‘little star’ and always will be.
His bedroom is decorated in blue and white stars and my favourite outfit of his had a star on the little jumper.
The day after we lost George, Paul and I explained to our children that George now sparkled in the stars and at night we could see him before bed.
This is also where Daddy is now.
Losing two such perfect people hurts and affects everyone who was lucky enough to have known Paul and George.
It is therefore important that we always remember them and smile.”
