International Women’s Day is a global celebration of the achievements, contributions, and strength of women across the world. It’s a day to reflect on the progress made and raise awareness about the work still to be done for gender equality.

Scarlett Allen-Horton, a BBC Apprentice Finalist and entrepreneur, is a leader in executive search, STEM, and EDI. She built her search business to seven figures, earning multiple awards. Featured in major media, she advises on diversity initiatives and is a sought-after speaker. Scarlett also mentors entrepreneurs, emphasizing purpose, passion, and profit.
Rhian Mannings founded 2wish in 2012 after the sudden death of her son George, followed only days later by husband Paul. Devastated by the loss, Rhian endeavoured to provide support for others in similar circumstances so that no-one would have to struggle alone with their grief. Rhian was awarded her MBE in Jan 2020 by Prince Charles for her services to charity, and in the following Nov she received a Pride of Britain Special Recognition Award, presented by actor Michael Sheen.
Long-time friend of 2wish, Kate Lewis is a presenter and reporter for ITV Cymru with over a decade of experience. She is a passionate advocate for issues affecting women and girls and is committed to improving support for those experiencing menopause and is ITV’s first Menopause Champion.
Hugh James is a top full-service national law firm with offices in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Southampton, and Plymouth.
Known for supporting those seriously injured or bereaved, their team works closely with emergency services, medical professionals, and charities to provide essential support.
Founded in Wales, Hugh James was inspired to partner with 2wish after learning about Rhian Mannings’ journey, and they’ve been incredible supporters of our events in the past, including our 2024 Little Ball Of Hope.
Founded in 2020 by two inspiring women, Nicola and Nicola, Ntitle is a South Wales-based legal outsourcing service transforming the conveyancing industry through expert-led, efficient title investigations. What sets Ntitle apart is their deep commitment to giving back. As a company led by mothers and a predominantly female team, they were inspired by the strength and dedication of Rhian and our wider 2wish Cymru team, and have been passionate about supporting our charity.
