Cerri Dando-Thompson is Acting Head of Services at the NSPCC’s Child Protection in Sport Unit, where she leads safeguarding strategy and quality assurance across UK sport and voluntary sectors. With a Master’s in Sport Development and Coaching, she has also served as a lecturer and performance director at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Cerri brings over fifteen years of experience in safeguarding, training, and consultancy spanning national governing bodies of sport, higher education, and third-sector organisations. She is a certified Level 2 Counsellor, providing trauma-informed, values-led support to organisations and national partners working with children and young people.
