The trekkers were up ‘early doors’ this morning for their flight to Tanzania, via Amsterdam (2:45am to be precise). Our Immediate Support Coordinator for West Wales, Helen Thomas, sent us this lovely selfie this morning before boarding their plane. Along with Bereavement Services Manager, Nicole Lloyd (centre) and 20 more trekkers, plus skilled porters and expedition leaders, they will take on Mount Kilimanjaro in memory of our loved ones who are no longer with us.
The team are due to summit in the next couple of days. So, check back here tomorrow for more updates.
